  • WHAT INSURANCE DO YOU TAKE?

We accept most PPO plans including: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Lincoln, & Metlife. If your PPO plan is out of network with our office, you may still be able to have the cost of your visit partially covered. We do not accept
HMO or DMO plans.

  • HOW DOES DENTAL INSURANCE WORK?

For patients wishing to use their PPO dental plan, we bill your dental insurance provider and you cover the deductible and co-payments. The amount that you owe depends on your specific dental insurance coverage, and co-payment is collected at the time
of service.

  • WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE DENTAL INSURANCE?

One option is to get our in-house membership. The membership is an annual fee of $250 which includes your two annual cleanings, exams, and necessary x-rays, as well as discounts up to 50% for any treatment needed. Another option is to apply for CareCredit. By paying with the CareCredit card, consumers are eligible to participate in short-term financing offers that enable them to make payments over 6, 12, 18 or 24 months with no interest charge as long as they spend at least $200 and pay the full bill within the agreed-on time period. Mission Dental can help you apply online with a valid ID.

  • HOW CAN I MAKE A PAYMENT?

Payments are collected at the time of treatment in the form of credit cards, cash, or CareCredit.

  • WHAT IF I HAVE AN EMERGENCY?

If you are experiencing pain or ongoing discomfort please call our office at (415) 285-9900 so we can get you in ASAP. Our helpful staff can help with any treatment questions you have and determine how soon we schedule you. *If this is an after hours
emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.

  • WHAT IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT?

We would encourage you to cancel your appointment with us within 24 hours, missing an appointment twice will cost $50 cancellation fee.

  • WHAT ABOUT EMERGENCY?

We will look after your tooth emergencies, we are just a call away!

  • HOW TO PAY FOR APPOINTMENT?

You can pay directly at the office before your appointment or call and pay before your appointment.
